LAND IS PURCHASED !!!


My thought is o.k purchase the land and then you can bug out to the location, camp, scream to the top
of your lungs and nothing is going to hear you.

I have Purchased 5 acres in San Bernardino County in the High Desert great price owner financing. ON EBAY!
Before I submitted the first bid.

I called the - Tax Collector - No back taxes / title is free and clear!
I called the  Building and Safety Department of the county... Betty said that I can build out there and
nobody is going to care ! Sweeeetttt

I am excited 5 acre parcel for $3,500 dollars 0%interest about 30 some odd payments of 100 dollars a month! Yearly taxes on this parcel is a mear $30 dollars a year.

My intention to create a retreat, get away in the middle of nowhere a escape of the confines of living in and around others. Is civilization prevelent of coures it is the nearest gas station is approx 10 miles away. ( resonable walking distance if you had too ) The nearest town / starbucks is about 30.

What spawned this ? Collapse of the Free World as we know it! I am far from what you would call a extreemist. I have children and I want them ready for everything including the collapse of the world around them...  What's wrong with prepairing on a scale that is reasonable.? My vision for where I see this going is to create something larger then I can imagine. I am excited and looking forward to the journey ahead.

Dwelling in A suv (back story)

So... 3 days ago I made a dicision to live in my suv 4 nights a week. This was based on 2 factors I work 120 miles from where I live becuase the job I have does not exist in where myself and my family resides.

Housing is cheap in the county (rural areas) so I travel to the heart of the rich and famous by the sea. I was staying with a friend who was charging 200 bucks bi weekly or 400 a month that could go to other things not to mention gas money as he lived 30 miles from where I work.

30 miles one way x 10 times a week = 300 miles = another $ 60.00 in gas x 2 weeks = $120.00 in gas every paycheck plus rent

total of 520.00  in gas and rent?!!. what if I was able to pocket that money and use it to pay off old bebt or take the kids to Disneyland or get the wife something... whatever. So why don't I move my family down where I work... the house we currently reside in a 3 bedroom 1 bath which is $795 a month + utilities (another reason we are going to live off the grid, that is for another post at a later time.) You can barely get a 1 bedroom apartment for $795 around where I work.

Plus me and my wife are country dwellers and she comes from a farming background. I too have a bloodline of dairy farmers that have roots in Pennsylvania. I go to school ( online to finish my AS ) and my wife is a full time mother of our 4 children (3 girls and 1 boy). I work full time and still we scrape by. Things will change and get better. Stay positive stay the course and good things will happen.
